Today has been a big day so far in the little world of Miss Oswin Jade: she laughed for the first time. I mean like a real laugh. Multiple of them. About eight, to be exact. Big, toothless, smiling, making little squeaks I had never heard before laughs.
And I just absolutely melted. If this little girl didn't have her mama and papa wrapped around her little finger before, it's on like donkey kong now.
(You know she totally did though...)
It also marks the first time that she's "played." She's more and more aware of everything around her everyday, and we've been waiting for even the slightest bit of play that we could engage her in. Today tickling, bouncing and funny noises sufficed, but I think the big question here is: how long until we can play Monopoly?
