We were fortunate upon getting here to find bikes from a good guy in Geneva for a decent price, however Dan's was never quite right. Being that they don't really make things in "Dan size" here in France, we've had trouble with finding him everything from bikes to running shoes (they straight up laughed at him at the "GoSport" in the VT when he asked if they carried a size 48, which is still smaller than his shoe size). I was so happy that after some interweb searching we were able to find him a road bike to fit his European version of Godzilla frame, especially since he's doing a triathalon in Lausanne, Suisse with our good buddy Derek and his bro in about 2 weekends, and (as of yesterday), a surprise sprint triathalon in Geneva, Suisse with Derek next weekend. It was so nice for him to get something new and to know that he is now well equipped to compete with the other guys, and won't have to worry about the gears coming undone on his bike everytime he down shifts...

I personally think that now he needs a sweet racing suit and matching helmet, because the orange just totally clashes with the speed racer red, black and white...maybe next time. Now let's just hope we can find my tall drink of water some ski boots and skis in time for ski season...
Start looking for those ski boots now! My husband (who is French) is 6'2" and that basically makes him a frankenstein freak here! We can never find jeans or shoes in his size. Thank heavens for the internet :-)
